The Workshop · Our Method

Every business is a unique mechanism.

We do not work from templates. Our method is the work of a craftsperson: we study each part, find the weak links, and build — by hand — a system designed to run for your business specifically.

This is not off-the-shelf consulting. It is business engineering — deliberate, documented, and measured. We sit at the drafting table with you until the plan is clear enough to build from.

The Drafting Sequence

How an engagement is drawn up.

Every project follows the same four stages — from the first conversation to a finished, documented hand-off. Move through the sequence to see what happens at each step.

Stage 01 — Listen & map

We start at the table with you.

We meet, ask questions, and map how your business actually runs today. Nothing is assumed and nothing is templated — the goal of this stage is a clear, honest picture of what exists.

  • An intake conversation about your goals and constraints
  • A plain-language map of your current operation
  • The weak links and priorities identified together

Stage 02 — Design on paper

We draft the structure.

With the picture in hand, we design the plan: the structure, the sequence of steps, and the shape of the solution. You see the blueprint before anything is built, so there are no surprises later.

  • A proposed structure or plan tailored to your business
  • Clear scope, milestones, and what each deliverable will contain
  • Your feedback worked in before we commit to building

Stage 03 — Produce the work

We build the deliverables.

We produce the actual documents, procedures, summaries, or plans — carefully, by hand, to the specification we agreed. This is the craftsperson's stage: measured, consistent, and made to be used.

  • Finished, well-organized deliverables
  • Consistent formatting your team can maintain
  • Regular check-ins so the work stays on track

Stage 04 — Refine & hand off

We review and hand it over.

We walk through the finished work with you, refine anything that needs adjusting within the agreed scope, and hand off with a short guide so you can put it to work right away.

  • A review session and reasonable revisions
  • A simple guide for rolling it out
  • Clear next steps, whether you continue with us or run it yourself

Certified Letters

Notes from early clients.

Solvatrix Systems opened in June 2026. These are among our first engagements.

Our scheduling and hand-offs were held together by memory. Solvatrix mapped the whole flow in one session and gave us a checklist we still use every morning. It finally feels organized.

M. Alvarez

Owner · Bakery & catering, Louisville KY

I came in with an idea and a mess of notes. The startup planning support turned it into a real structure — milestones, an operating model, something I could hand to my partner. Worth every dollar.

D. Whitfield

Founder · Early-stage services startup

The workflow review cut two full steps out of how we process orders. The before-and-after drawing made it obvious where we were losing time. Clear, practical, no jargon.

R. Osei

Operations lead · Independent retailer

The market research summary gave me a grounded read on my competitors before I signed a lease. Concise, readable, and exactly the level of detail a small operator actually needs.

J. Tanaka

Independent professional · Consulting

Documentation support gave our small team a real set of procedures instead of things living in one person's head. Onboarding the next hire took a fraction of the time it used to.

S. Brennan

Manager · Family-owned services firm
